Anjali Chanda passes away

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
NEW DELHI, Dec 4: Anjali Chanda Pal, a former special correspondent with The Indian Express, Delhi, died on Friday morning of a heart attack at her New Friends Colony residence. She was 66.

Chanda, a graduate in French from Oxford University where she was a Blue in swimming, specialised in writing features on historical and cultural subjects.

Her series on the monuments of Delhi, which appeared in The Indian Express, was much acclaimed. She is survived by her sons Ranjan and Adit. The funeral is tomorrow at the Lodhi Road crematorium at 10 am.
