GNP-36 in final
Guru Nanak Public School continued their winning spree in the ongoing Inter-School football tournament for St Xavier's Trophy being held at Sector 17 Football Stadium. In the semifinal today, they knocked out St Soldier's International School-28 by two goals to nil to set up a title clash with St Xavier's School, who outplayed Sanjay Public School-44, 3-1, via tie-breaker, in the second semifinal.

GNP-36 lads played an attacking game and were up by 1-0 at the break. Sandeep, who netted the first goal for the team in the 25th minute, paved the way for second goal in the 10th minute of the second half when he gave a through pass to unmarked Rajbir, inside the box, who made no mistake.

In the second semifinal, St Xavier's School and Sanjay Public School played a goalless draw in the regulation time. . In the tie-breaker, St Xavier's converted three shots while SPS-44 scored one.

Badminton team
