Sweden retain Davis Cup

MILAN: Sweden extended their Davis Cup final lead over Italy to 4-0 when Magnus Gustafsson beat Gianluca Pozzi 6-4 6-2 in the first of Sunday's singles. Sweden wrapped up their seventh Davis Cup title on Saturday when Jonas Bjorkman and Nicklas Kulti beat Diego Nargiso and Davide Sanguinetti in straight sets to give the defending champions an unbeatable 3-0 lead.

Gibbs replaces Bacher for 2nd Test

PORT ELIZABETH: Herschelle Gibbs was brought in for Adam Bacher as the only change to the South African squad for the second Test against West Indies which starts on Thursday.

The Squad: Gary Kirsten, Herschelle Gibbs, Jacques Kallis, Daryll Cullinan, Hansie Cronje (captain), Jonty Rhodes, Shaun Pollock, Mark Boucher, Pat Symcox, Allan Donald, Paul Adams, David Terbrugge.

Pak refuse to play on damaged pitch

HAMILTON: Pakistan `A' forfeited their four-day cricket match against New Zealand `A' here on Sunday after refusing to bat on a pitch which had beendamaged by vandals overnight. The visiting side refused to emerge from their changing rooms at the delayed start time after repair work had been completed to the satisfaction of the umpires.

Grant Flower creates a flutter

LAHORE: Grant Flower followed his career-best figures of seven for 31 with a hard-hitting century to put Zimbabwe in command of their match against Lahore City Cricket Association on Sunday. They were 211 for five at the close of the third day -- a lead of 318. Lahore, resuming on 188 for four, eventually declared their first innings on 287 for nine, 107 behind.

Tyson puts his homes, estates for sale

CLEVELAND: Mike Tyson is selling his 62-acre estate in Trumbull County along with homes in Las Vegas and Farmington, Connecticut, The Plain Dealer reported Saturday. Total asking price: $21 million. Tyson is selling the homes because he is training in the Phoenix area and plans to spend more time on the West Coast of the US, said Mike Farris, a real estate broker in LasVegas and one-time head of security for Tyson.
