Shukla to meet PM to clarify Vandana stand

LUCKNOW, DEC 6: Ravindra Shukla, former UP Minister, who was recently dropped from the State Cabinet for his ``irresponsible behaviour in implementing the Kalp Yojana'', today accused C M Kalyan Singh of misleading Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee against him on the issue, and said he will meet Vajpayee to clarify his stand.Shukla told mediapersons here that implementation of Kalp Yojana, under which the rendition of Saraswati Vandana and Vande Mataram would be made compulsory in Government-run primary schools, had the approval of Kalyan Singh, as he had incorporated it in his Budget speech in the State legislature in May-June this year. He said he had already sought an appointment with Vajpayee to clarify his position alongwith the relevant documents, and would also meet the RSS leadership to apprise them of the developments.about the details of the scheme.
