The International Federation's decision to reduce the total number of weight classes has seen Kunjarani Devi move up from 46 kg to 48 kg and Karnam Malleswari from her initial 54 kg to 63 kg respectively and the Games competition which runs from December 7 to 14 will be the first major test for the experienced two to bring glory to India again.
The five women will be hoping to at least equal the one silver andthree bronze medals they won from a nine-member squad in Hiroshima, Malleswari alone managing second place.
