J&K's special status to stay, assures PM
Promising a 'better climate' for the troubled state, Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on Sunday assured there was no move to change the special status enjoyed by Jammu and Kashmir.
Thakre blasts Govt for allowing foreign equity in Insurance
The Bharatiya Janata Party president, Kushabhau Thakre, has criticised the Central government for opening up the insurance sector without consulting the party and said that BJP was opposed to foreign equity participation in the insurance sector.
