Seventy year old man dies after fall

NEW DELHI, December 7: A 70-year-old man died after he fell from the terrace of the Express Apartments around 4.00 p.m. today. S.K. Verma, a retired public prosecutor, was said to have been mentally disturbed for the past 2 years and was undergoing treatment in this regard.Around 4.00 p.m., Verma left his house for the market. He told his daughter that he was going to collect some medicines for himself. About 15 minutes later, the children playing in the vicinity saw him trying to sleep on the parapet on top of the Express Apartments, Mayur Vihar Part-III. They are said to have called out to him, to which he replied that he was just out to take a walk. Following this he moved out of sight.
