Seema stars in KNC win
Skipper Seema Wadhwa's unbeaten 120 off 99 balls and fine batting by Vandana Gupta (79 off 83 balls) helped Kamla Nehru College win the inter-college women's cricket championship defeating Maitreyee College by 132 runs.

Reema Malhotra took five wickets for 26 for the winners while Jaya Sharma was the top scorer for the losers. Brief scores: Kamla Nehru: 264 for 3 in 40 overs (Seema Wadhva 120 not out, Vandana Gupta 79, Nirmal 21). Maitreyee: 132 (Jaya Sharma 40, Reema Malhotra 5 for 26, Preeti Sharma 2 for 24).

Manoj sparkles
Manoj Madhavan's unbeaten 49 helped Media Transasia beat Indian Airlines by four wickets in Media Transasia League Cup at Gargi College ground.

Naresh claimed 3 for 24 for the winners while Haryana Ranji player, Shafiq Khan (68) was the top scorer for the losers.

Brief Scores: Media Transasia: 154 for 6 (Manoj Madhavan 49 n.o, KS Rana 31, Ajay Tiwari 38 n.o, Rakesh 2 for 21, Dinesh 2 for 25). Indian Airlines: 150 for 9 (Shafiq Khan 68, Dinesh 40, Naresh 3 for 24, Rakesh 2 for 17, Rajender Kirsal 2 for 32).

Kohli wins
H K Kohli won the DDA's annual indoor games men's single table tennis title defeating BN Bhattacharya 12-23, 12-21, 21-16, 21-17, 22-20 in the final at Vikas Sadan.

S K Sharma clinched the third position beating Sanjay Kishore 21-9, 21-18, 16-21, 21-11.

Zakir shines
Fine spell of bowling by Mandhar Singh (4 for 20) enabled Madras Club prevail over KN Colts by eight wickets in division A-I match of DDCA league at Kotla. Vikas Puri (62 not out), Sanjeev Kumar (34) were the main scorers for the winners while Ajay Sharma (junior) contributed 26 for the losers.

In another match of division B, Maulan Azad crushed OBC by 154 runs at Kotla 2. Good bowling by Rehan Ahmad (5 for 24) and fine knocks by Zakiruddin (77), Rehan Ahmad (76) and Bilar Ahmad (64) contribited for Maulana while A. Thakur top scored for OBC.

Brief Scores: Madras: 126 for 2 in 28 overs (Vikas Puri 62 not out, Sanjeev Kumar 34). KN Colts: 120 in 39.4 overs (Ajay Sharma (junior) 26, Mandhar Singh4 for 20, Rodnee Charles 2 for 19, Sanjay Gill 2 for 21, Dhan Raj Singh 2 for 30).

Maulana Azad: 307 (Zakiruddin 77, Rehan Ahmad 76, Bilar Ahmad 64, Dhanpat 3 for 53, Ashok Thakur 3 for 53). OBC: 154 (Ashok Thakur 54, Kishore Talukdar 49, Rehan Ahmad 5 for 24, MOhd Arif 3 for 19).

Roller skating
Summer Field School (Kailash Colony) will be organising ninth inter-school roller skating championship from December 7 to 9 at the school premises. Winners will be awarded on December 9 at 11.30 am.
