The 20-year-old girl who set herself on fire after being raped at Ghatkopar on Tuesday succumbed to her burns after midnight. While two of her rapists and a woman have been arrested in the case, the third rapist is still absconding.As the victim was walking towards her hut in a dazed condition, Sathe's wife, Shobha, allegedly began taunting her, and the victim rushed inside her hut, doused herself with kerosene and set herself on fire, informed the police. The three rapists are rickshaw drivers and live in the victim's neighbourhood.
The victim is survived by a three-year-old daughter. Married since four years, she was separated from her husband since the last two years.
