IBM scholarships awarded

CHANDIGARH, Dec 8: To encourage students in the field of information and technology, IBM ACE National Merit Scholarships, given on the basis of all India aptitude tests conducted in August and September, were awarded at a ceremony held at Hotel Mount View here today.The scholarships were awarded by Narendra Khurana, national chief, IBM Education. He commended the students on their excellent performance. The students who won the scholarships include Vikram Anand from Bombay University, Anubhav Babbar, Punjab Engineering College, Jayant Chakarbarty, Panjab University, Charanjit Gill, Pune University and Pankaj Attri, a mechanical engineer.
