NEW DELHI, DEC 9: In a significant development, political leaders who had broken away from the Congress in different parts of the country would meet here tomorrow to work out a strategy for a united approach in the current political scenario.Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee said that the meeting would be attended by leaders of her party, Loktantrik Congress (LC), Manipur State Congress (MSC) and Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
Besides Banerjee, the meeting will be attended by Naresh Agarwal (LC), Chouba Singh (MSC) and Suresh Kalmadi MP (MVA). ``There will be others too. Just wait and see,'' Banerjee said without elaborating.
The meeting assumes significance in the wake of reports that a front is likely to be formed by these State parties, whose support might become essential for major parties in the emerging political situation.
It is to be noted that during the past few weeks, Banerjee had visited Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and certain other places and met several leaders to mobilise supportfor this meeting. She had earlier said her efforts were to mobilise former Congress leaders for this purpose, but refused to divulge what her ultimate political aim was.
