VADODARA, Dec 13: In a tragic road mishap, three members of a family were killed near Por village on Sunday afternoon.According to the SSG Hospital police, Mukesh Kharwa, 37, a resident of Kharwawad, Navapura, Vadodara, and his son and daughter were killed on the spot, while his wife was seriously injured and had been admitted to hospital.Kharwa, a cycle mechanic, his son Umesh, 7, daughter Sejal, 11 and wife Jyotsana were travelling on a moped when a trailer hit them.
The police said that the family was presumed to have gone to attend a community function at Badia Bapuji temple in Por and was on their way back home. According to the police, the driver of the trailer fled from the spot.
