India pick up five more medals
India scooped up five medals, minus the golden hue, through their men shooters and athletes as the jumbo-sized contingent celebrated their most successful day in the Asian Games today. Shooter Jaspal Rana settled for the silver. Trap shooters Mansher Singh, Manavjit Singh and Zoravar Singh boosted the medal tally by winning the team silver. India's medal kitty swelled when Neelam J Singh secured a bronze in discus long distance runner Gulab Chand secured the third place. The Indian men's hockey team staved off China's challenge to post a 2-1 win and enter the semi-finals from group `B'.

England collapse
A middle order collapse sank Sngland to 227 all out in the third Ashes cricket Test against Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday. Resuming the day on 160 for three, England lost seven wickets for just 40 runs to be all out at lunch, leaving Australia with a 164-run lead.

Indian struggle
Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly notched up half centuries while opener Ajay Jadeja missed his by four runs as India struggled to reach 219 for seven at close on the second day of their four-day match against Wellington at the Basin Reserve today.
