Sir J J school wins quiz competition

SURAT, Dec 14: Zorayas Shethna and Nozer Dabu of the Sir J J School stood first in a quiz competition held by the Parsi Pragati Mandal on Monday. Both received the Late Mahtab Nariman Dabhiwla Rotating shield. While students of a number of city schools, including Sir J J English School, Lourdes Convent and St Xaviers, participated in the contest, students of the Sir J J School won all the three rounds. Hence the final round was between three teams of the same school, where Rukshana Aibada, Eric Bhathena and Farzan Besania won the second prize. All the winners were awarded cups and certificates and all the participants were given certificates of merit.

While Dr Dinaz Minu Parabia, Chairman of the Culture Committee Rusi Besani, and Dr Ratan Marshal were present as guests of honour, Faramroze Bhumgara gave away the prizes and Khurshid Virat Shethna conducted the competition.
