Andhra transporters evade tax

HYDERABAD, Dec 14: The lack of effective monitorying mechanism and failure to crosscheck details provided by transport operators has resulted in largecale evasion of tax amounting to hundreds of crores of rupees, a survey by the Vigilance and Enforcement Department has shown.
