VADODARA, Dec 20: The Alumni Association of the Post Graduate Diploma Management Association has alleged that classes of Aptech were being conducted illegally in the Faculty of Commerce, M S University.Association president Naval Bajaj said, ``We conduct our seminars in the same building and since the classes were going on, we inquired and found that Aptech was conducting classes.''
Bajaj claimed that when asked, Aptech representatives said that the classes were being held with the faculty dean's permission. Bajaj said they immediately brought the matter to the notice of Pro Vice-Chancellor Deepak Kumar De.
Stating that De had sent deputy registrar Manoj Jani to inquire the matter, Bajaj claimed that Jani had seized the register which had the signature of the teacher, who was conducting the classes and the names of the students who were attending them.
Bajaj claimed that the students had been asked to vacate the class immediately. While De was not available for comment, Jani could not be contacted.
