Valuables, cash stolen In a daylight theft on Sunday afternoon, unidentified persons broke open a locked house in Sardarnagar Society between 1 and 2 pm and decamped with cash and gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 4.50 lakhs. According to a complaint filed in the Mahidharpura police by one Jignesh Shah, he had taken his relatives for lunch to his hotel -- Hotel Satvik -- near the Railway station in the afternoon and returned to find the rear door broken. He found cash, gold and silver ornaments missing. While Police Inspector M T Rana is investigating the case, a case under sections of the IPC has been registered.Burns death One Rani Mishra, 24, a resident of Krishnakunjnagar Society in Godadara village on the outskirts of the city, died of burn injuries during the early hours of Sunday in the Ashaktashram hospital. According to the Limbayat police, Mishra was making tea in her house on December 10, when the stove exploded, causing burn injuries to her.
