Diesel prices may come down next month
Union petroleum minister VK Ramamurthy has a new year gift up his sleeve in the form of a significant slash in diesel prices. The price of high-speed diesel was last reduced in May this year.

275 companies vanish from BSE list
As many as 275 companies have "vanished" from the list of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) with absolutely no trace about their operations, financial results, addresses and projects. These companies are neither traded nor they pay any listing fee to the stock exchange.
