Shekhar Kapur's Elizabeth likely to open fest
The 30th International Film Festival of India is hoping to have Shekhar Kapur's widely acclaimed and now Golden Globe nominated Elizabeth as the opening film for the 10-day festivities beginning in Hyderabad from January 10, 1999.

Green autos by February 15
Mumbai's autorickshaws are to get a green makeover. A private entrepreneur is planning to introduce the first CNG autos in Mumbai by February 15 next year, a month after they will hit the roads in Delhi following a Supreme Court directive.

`Vulgar' lyrics in Hindi film song changed
The allegedly obscene words ``behen di takki'' in one of the songs of the film Kudrat have been changed to ``chiri de duggi'' following protests the song evoked.
