NAGPUR, Dec 27: In another instance of youngsters taking to serious crimes, a 14-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped and murdered in an extortion bid by two youngsters.The police have taken into custody two suspects Rajesh Shivprasad Sakhare (22) and Dinesh Ramrao Yadav (16) on the charge of kidnapping, assaulting and clubbing Mukesh Dilip Gajbhiye to death and for trying to destroy the evidence yesterday.
Police sources said the duo had picked up Mukesh, a resident of Ajni railway quarters, took him to a house near Dighori octroi-post, beat him to death and buried his body in the same house.
Preliminary findings suggested that the duo was after extracting part of some money received by Mukesh's father recently. One of the suspects also resides in Ajni railway quarters.
