TIRUMALA, DEC 28: The Lord Venkateswara temple here netted an income of Rs 2.16 crore in the last four days, according to the temple sources.The sources said that one pilgrim alone had dropped 30 bundles of Rs 500 notes in the Srivari hundi today. Though the influx of the pilgrims was less Saturday and Sunday, the collections remained high.
According to the details released by the TTD, the hundi collections itself stood at Rs 64 lakh on Saturday and Rs 63.73 lakh on Sunday and more than 60,000 pilgrims visited the temple yesterday.
