Show cause, 184 MP Congmen told

N D Sharma
BHOPAL, Dec 29: The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee has issued notices to 184 Congress leaders seeking explanations from them on complaints accusing them of sabotage during last month's polls.

Moreover, the complaints against over a dozen senior leaders have been referred to the party high command as the PCC is not competent to issue show-cause notices to AICC members.

Even though the Congress has won a majority of the Assembly seats and formed the government in the state, the party appears determined to discipline its ranks. It has, therefore, decided to deal firmly with those found working against the interests of the party.

Party sources said a large number of complaints of sabotage had been received The party, however, decided to act only on the complaints made by candidates or the district Congress committees.
