Seeded TT players have it easy

UNITED NEWS OF INDIA  
JALANDHAR, Dec 29: All the seeded players today won their respective matches on the fifth day of the 60th Junior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championship here today.

Top seed Subajit Saha of West Bengal made short work of G Jitendra (AP) 21-18, 21-7, While Sunil Ahuja of Haryana was no match to second seed Ranabir Dass of West Bengal who, by his fast forehand strokes,won the match 21-18, 21-7.

Third seed Sukant Das, also of West Bengal, had no no difficulty in beating his team-mate Sujai Das 21-14,21-15 and fourth seed Prithvi Das Bose (Bengal) had an easy match against Ankur Mahajan (Maharashtra) which he won 21-13,21-7.

Host Punjab's campaign ended in the boys section when their both players Manish Bhardwaj and Bakul Aggarwal lost to their superior Bengal rivals.
