VADODARA, Dec 29: A teenager was caught by the special squad of the Western Railways' Vadodara division on Tuesday at Ankleshwar for travelling with a fake monthly season ticket.Imran Ismail Patel was caught by head travelling ticket examiner M K Agnihotri during a special check at Ankleshwar. Speaking to Express Newsline, Agnihotri said, ``Patel had obtained his fake pass from Karjan''.
Patel, a resident of village Kakan, near Palej had been travelling with this fake ticket for quite some time. Patel has been prosecuted under sections 137 and 157 of Railway Act. Patel has been imposed a fine of Rs 700. If he failed to pay the fine he was liable for imprisonment for 30 days. Agnihotri added that the divisional authorities proposed to hold such surprise check in the division again during the next few days.
