TIRUPATI, Jan 7: The Maharashtra Government was considering drawing a master plan to develop the shrine of Shirdi Sai Baba on the lines of the famous shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala here.A team of Government officials from Maharashtra, who had arrived here on a three-day visit on Tuesday, held discussions with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) authorities in this connection, a senior official of the team, Chandrakant Dalvi said today.
As part of the plan, approach and bypass roads from the Ahmednagar-Manmad would be laid at a cost of Rs 25 crore, he said.
The officials, also discussed various plans for the benefit of the pilgrims implemented at Tirumala, he said.
