Suicide case
The Gorwa police on Thursday registered a case against one Bhupendrabhai Ramanbhai Patel, a resident of D-21, Ganganagar Society on Gotri Road, who tired to commit suicide. According to the police, Patel was disappointed with life and tried to end his life by consuming insecticide.Vehicle thefts
In separate cases of vehicle theft registered by the police on Thursday, three vehicles were stolen from different parts of the city. According to the police, a motorcycle (GJ-5-N-6351) worth Rs 32,000 from Sadar area under Fatehgunj police station, a Sunny moped (GJ-10-E-6382) worth Rs 5,000 from the parking lot of the Central ST depot under Sayajigunj police station and a Priya scooter (GCS 3975) worth Rs 4,000 from Gendigate area under Wadi police station were stolen. Liquor seize
The police seized 74 litres of country liquor worth Rs 1480 and two bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor worth Rs 300 during raids at two places on Wednesday. The police also registered cases against six people under the Prohibition Act.
