He took stock of the progress made in the maintenance and augmentation of the city's power supply, especially for the coming summer. The L-G directed DVB officials to monitor the measures being undertaken to enhance power supply. ``Generating units should be overhauled expeditiously and optimal functioning should be ensured to meet the increased demand during summer ,'' he said. Kapoor said that all sub-stations should repair their deficiencies by March this year, adding that critical items like transformers and cables should be made available well in time to facilitate repair work.

Dikshit pointed out that complaint centres should be more responsive and information on power cuts should be made available.
