Space Travels up

MUMBAI, JAN 15: A good all-round performance by Space Travels earned them a 57-run victory over Mahindra Tractors, and a berth in the semi-final of the Indian Airlines Invitational Cricket tournament at the Indian Airlines Sports Club, Kalina today. Put into bat, Space Travels scored 229 for seven in the stipulated 30 overs, thanks to a quick 92 by Kuldip Wadkar.The victors then fielded and bowled well, to dismiss Mahindra Tractors for 172 in 27.4 overs. Hitesh Khambe and Diwakar Shetty did most of the damage, claiming three wickets apiece. Brief Scores Space Travels 227-8 (Kuldip Wadkar 92) bt Mahindra Tractors 172 (Khambe 3-32, Shetty 3-15).
