The two a Class VIII student, Amit and a Class X student, Santosh were held after the girl filed a complaint to the school principal who passed it on to the police. The incident reportedly occurred a fortnight ago.

Narrating the incident to the principal, the girl, who is a Class VIII student of Government High School, Sector 35-D, stated that around 12 noon a few boys of class VIII and X stopped her. One of them, Amit, held her arm and took her to the class VI room.

Four or five boys stood outside, while Amit shut the door of the room and reportedly offered her his friendship. When she refused, the boy allegedly kissed her forcibly. The girl alleged that he further misbehaved with her. When the two came out, Santosh also kissed her.

Yesterday, the two boys also allegedly assaulted her and threatened her of dire consequences if she reported the matter to the authorities.

UT District education officer Brahmjit Kalia, when contacted, said the school authorities could not contact the boys after the incident was reported. The two had not been coming to school since the incident, he added.
