Torture case
The Makarpura police have registered a case against three persons on charges of torturing and harassing a woman. According to details, the woman, a resident of Manjalpur, was harassed by her husband and in-laws for dowry. A case has been registered and investigations are on, the police said.

Two thefts
Reena Balwantrai Patel, a resident of PG Hall, Home Science Girls Hostel, in a complaint with the police has stated that cash and valuables worth Rs 7,000 were stolen from the dickey of her moped by some unidentified persons on Tuesday morning. In another incident, cash Rs 250 and medical equipments worth Rs 500 were stolen from the dickey of a Kinetic Honda of one Preetiben Mishra, a resident of Chhani Jakat Naka. In her complaint with the Raopura police, she has stated that the theft was committed when she had parked her scooter outside the SSG Hospital on Tuesday morning.
