Teachers' body to gherao minister

SURAT, Jan 19: The Surat Shahar Manya Khangi Prathamik Shikshak Sangh (SSMKPSS), an organisation of teachers of government recognised primary schools have decided to gherao State Education Minister Anandi Patel on January 29, besides other agitational programmes, to protest against the ``inability of the government to force managements of schools to fullfill their long-standing demands''.Besides gheraoing the minister, the teachers would also welcome her with black flags on the roads where she would drive and submit her a memorandum, SSMKPSS president Dipak Patel, said in a statement issued here.
