Resounding win for Rajhans

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
MUMBAI, JAN 20: Fine bowling by off-spinner Taha Khairullah helped Rajhans Vidyalaya score a thumping 115-run win over St Mary's ISC in the quarter-finals of the MSSA-Colgate Inter-Schools Giles Shield Cricket Tournament at Shivaji Park today.

Set a target of 170, St Mary's were bundled out for 54. Khairullah was the wrecker-in-chief scalping six wickets for 13 runs in 10 overs. He was well supported by medium pacer Gaurav Bhatt who finished with figures of three for 18.

In other matches Shardashram (Marathi medium) scored a six-run victory over last year's runners up Balmohan Vidyamandir. Half centuries by south paw Dinar Gaokar (68) and Krunal Nar (65) and their 165-run stand for the fifth wicket helped Shardashram amass 234 for nine in the stipulated 75 overs.

Left-arm spinner Santosh Agrahari's six-wicket haul for Springfield went in vain as they lost to Shardashram (English) by two wickets.
