MUMBAI, Jan 22: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) clinched the women's Petroleum Sports Control Board team table tennis title with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Oil India Limited (OIL) in the final at the Navi Mumbai Sports Association, Vashi, today.RESULTS (Team championships)
Men's: Group A: IOC bt IPCL 3-0 (S Raman bt Rishi Sharma 21-12, 21-14; Chetan Baboor bt Satish Patel 21-10, 21-19; Arjan Datta bt Kalpesh Thakkar 21-6, 23-21).
Women's: BPCL bt OIL 3-2 (MS Mythili bt Jupi Borthakur 21-12, 21-13, lost to Mouma Das 18-21, 14-21; B Bhuvaneshwari lost to Mouma Das 15-21, 21-19, 14-21, bt Jupi Borthakur 23-25, 21-12, 21-11; Mythili Bhuvaneshwari bt Jupi and Mouma Das 21-9, 21-13.

Shetty makes waves
Parikshit Shetty, as in the other age-groupmeets in Mumbai, dominated the first day of the Colgate Inter-Schools Aquatic championships at the PM Hindu Bath today.
He won three events in the boys under-13 section all with meet records. It came in the 200 metres Individual Medley, 100 metres breaststroke and 100 metres butterfly.
