"It is a coterie that is ruling the Prime Minister's Office"
Just when the Prime Minister's men thought they had trapped Mamata Banerjee in their ministerial cage, the Bengal tigress scowled, roared yet again and set herself free.

Oh what a lovely parade!
Doctors bury their blunders, but governments must parade them. Or that is what I have always believed. They must festoon their monumental mistakes with buntings, mount them on gun carriages and take them down Raj Path on Republic Day amidst the bugle blowers, the bagpipers and the drum beaters.

Railways: Lining pockets, careers
In government circles, it is an open secret: if you cannot become the prime minister, try and become the Union Minister for Railways. For, the ministry is a mini-government in itself, complete with own budget and a Principal Secretary.
