MSU dept plans food festival

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
VADODARA, Jan 24: If you thought that food festivals were only organised by the hotel industry, you're in for a surprise. Students of the Faculty of Home Science, M S University plan to organise a two-day food festival from February 6.

The festival will include 50 food stalls, including those selling Chinese, Mexican, Thailand and of course Indian food.

The fair, being organised by students of the certificate course of hotel management and catering of the Department of Extension and Communication, is part of the university golden jubilee celebrations and under the campus diversity programme.

Talking to Express Newsline, Kalpana Parlikar of the department of Extension and Communication said, the aim behind organising the fair was to enable students to learn how to set up and run a stall and not raise funds.
