No lust for ministership: Nitish

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
GOPALGANJ (BIHAR), JAN 25: Railway Minister Nitish Kumar said that he had ``no lust for ministership'' and welcomed Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's directive for declaration of property possessed by members of the Union Cabinet.

``I have no lust for ministership.... I have never hankered after power,'' Kumar said while replying to newsmen's query over the demand of Trinamool Congress for railway portfolio.

``Allocation of portfolio - or induction of ministers is the prerogative of PM... I have nothing to say on it,'' he said.

Kumar claimed that he had already submitted the details of property he had.
