CHENNAI, Jan 25: Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation (SPIC) has recorded a net profit of Rs 33.30 crore for the nine months period ended December 31, 1998. Net profit of SPIC during the same period last year stood at Rs 32.94 crore. Net sales of spic stood at Rs 1,992.59 crore during the period against Rs 1717.28 crore posted in the same period of the previous year.
