Polytechnic programme
The Polytechnic College has organised a programme on Tuesay at 5 pm to give away gold medals, prizes and merit scholarship certificates to eligible students clearing the examinations between 1995 and 1998. According to a statement issued by college principal, Vice-Chancellor Anil Kane will chair the programme, while PVC Dipak Kumar De will be the chief guest.

Food festival
The two-day food festival, beginning at the M S University from February 6, has been organised by the Centre for Continuing Adult Education and Community Services, according to honorary director of the centre Kalpana Parlikar. Parliker said the aim behind organising the mela was to raise funds and guide students to put up stalls.

Animal Care
The Vadodara Centre for Animal Rescue and Emergency is organising a participatory training programme in veterinary care on February 1. It will be conducted by Dr Andrew Trawford, head, veterinary sciences, of the International Donkey Protection Trust (IDPT), Devon in UK. For details contact Dr Annapoorna on 354825.

2-day workshop
The Homoeopathic Education and Charitable Trust has organised a scientific workshop for homoeopathic doctors and students on treatment of various disorders on January 30 and 31 at Ashirwad Hospital, opposite Polo Ground from 8 am to 7 pm. Dr Nimesh Mehta from ICR, Mumbai and Dhawale's Homoeopathic Research Institute will deliberate on the subject from 8 am to 7 pm. For details, contact on 651491 or 331788.

Blood camp
The Baroda Kerala Samagam has organised a blood donation camp at St Thomas School Panchavati, Refinery road on Tuesday from 9.30 am to 2 pm.
