Bail for four in Pharmacy Council case

CHANDIGARH, Jan 28: Four accused in the Haryana State Pharmacy Council case have been granted bail by UT Chief Judicial Magistrate Sant Parkash after they furnished a bond of Rs 20,000 each, apart from a surety of the like amount.The accused, Ram Dass Dhamija, Balraj Singh, K.C. Goel and Asakaran Tuteja were earlier booked by the city police for alleged fraud and conspiracy. Balraj Singh, running a chemist shop at Bhiwani allegedly issued certificates posing himself to be the acting registrar of the Haryana State Pharmacy Council. The accused also allegedly operated bank account of the Council without any authority. The case against the accused was registered on the directives of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
