CHANDIGARH, Jan 31: GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar blanked Arya Evening College, Ludhiana, 4-0 to lift the title in the Panjab University Inter-College football championship (Evening and Education Colleges), which concluded at PU Campus here today.Narinder scored three goals (not hat-trick) in the 5th, 38th and 70th minutes while Charanjit Singh got one in the 45th minute.
Earlier, Gurusar Sadar beat Government Evening College, Ludhiana 2-0.For Gurusar, striker Narinder Singh shot in the 15th minute to gain the upper hand. The eventual winners led 1-0 at the break.
After the change of ends, Vikas Nain consolidated the lead in the 60th minute.
Arya Evening College, Ludhiana secured second place in the meet. They defeated Government College of Education, Chandigarh by 5-2.
For Arya College, Rajesh shot three goals (60th, 62nd, 68th) while Harjinder and Vikrant got one each.
Ram Kumar scored both the goals (20th, 58th) for Chandigarh team.
