Thefts
Lalita Dalal, a resident of Haripura area of Chowk Bazaar told the police in a complaint on Tuesday that some person had entered her open house and decamped with gold bangles valued at Rs 16,000. In another case of theft registered at the Rander police station, Rs 5000 in cash along with gold valuables worth Rs 10,000 were stolen from the house of one Anish Shah. Shah, a resident of Toran Apartments told the police that unidentified persons broke into his house through the back door.

Missing
Dipesh Ravji Vimane, a 14-year-old class VII student residing in the Adarshnagar area of Kapodara has been reported missing from the morning of January 31. In his report, the boy's father stated that Vimane had told his father that he was going to a workshop but has not returned home since. The Kapodara police are investigating the disappearance.
