MANGALORE, Feb 2: About 1,500 people under the Malekudiyara Horata Samiti staged a protest at Belthangady against the Government's proposal to set up a 'national park' in the forests of Western Ghats. Environmentalists said this would lead to displacement of 3,183 families living in the forests.
