The runners-up team was led by pro Yusuf Ali of Calcutta with GK Malesiddappa, SM Pathania and S Ramanujan who netted 82 points.

Local pro Manohar Dike and his squad of Dr Karnik, BV Ramchandra and PL Suneja finished third with 81 points.

The individual prize for top two positions was shared by Vijay Kumar (Lucknow) and Basad Ali (Calcutta). Both carded two-under par 68.
