No compromises on N-power: AEC Chief
The Pokhran nuclear tests last May have led to three `robust' bomb designs and no further tests are needed, Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) chairman Dr R Chidambaram said today. India is now totally self-reliant in nuclear power and is in no stage `to make any political compromises', he averred.
