Cape Town, Feb 3: South Africa sent West Indies spinning to yet another defeat, winning the fifth One-dayer by 89 runs to clinch a 4-1 series victory.

West Indies, crushed 5-0 in the Tests, were dismissed yesterday for a paltry 132 in reply to 221 for eight. Their last nine wickets fell for just 65. South Africa had looked deep in trouble at 68 for six but number seven Dale Benkenstein anchored the recovery with a career-best 69.

Number nine Lance Klusener raced to an undefeated 54 in 36 balls -- including three sixes and two fours -- as he and Benkenstein added 91 in the last 10 overs.
