Title for Maloya School

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
CHANDIGARH, Feb 5: Government Primary School, Maloya and Govt Primary School, Kuda Jassu, were winner and runner-up, respectively, in the block level sports meet of primary schools held recently at Government Model Senior Secondary School in Sector 23.

Besides kabaddi, competitions were also held in athletic events.

PU shuttlers
Four shuttlers from Punjab University will represent Combined Universities team in the 63rd Senior National badminton championship to be held at New Delhi from February 6 to 10.

The selected players are -- Rajat Johal, Amit Sachdeva, Amamdeep Sekhri, Sunil Sekhri.

Sanjay to lead
Sanjay Kumar will lead AG (Audit), Punjab, team in the North Zone IA and AD football tournament to be held at Allahabad from February 9 to 11.

Other members of the team includes -- Jaswinder, Arun, Viney, Manjinder, Hemant, Deepak, Manharpreet, Vijay, Rakesh, Shashi, Narinder, Suresh, Dinesh and Anup.

Inder Singh will be coach cum manager of the team.

Ag Punjab who got second place in the last edition of the meet was held in Chandigarh will take on AG Allahabad in their opening match.
