VRS, AES in GCEL soon

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
VADODARA, Feb 9: Additional Chief Secretary C K Koshy has assured that the State Government would re-introduce Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) and Alternative Employment Scheme (AES) in the Gujarat Communications and Electronics Limited (GCEL).

General Secretary of the United Employees of GCEL Union R R Patel told Express Newsline that Koshy announced this during his visit to Vadodara on Saturday, in connection with privatisation of the company.

It may be recalled that the State Government has already decided to privatise the GCEL and an advertisement to this effect was introduced in January.
