Four of gang arrested after shootout

NEW DELHI, February 9: The north-west Delhi Police have arrested four Haryana-based criminals, who are reportedly wan-ted in several cases of murder and robbery in Delhi and Haryana. The police also claim to have foiled a robbery they planned to commit on Wednesday next.DCP (north-west) Satyendra Garg says the accused have been identified as Devender, 22, Jaibeer, 27, Rakesh, 20, and Arun, 20. Devender had escaped from Sonepat jail last month. He is wanted in 24 cases of robbery, dacoity and motor-vehicle theft. Arun is reportedly involved in three cases of attempt to murder.
