CHANDIGARH, Feb 10: The local BJP unit today expressed concern over the recent attacks on minorities in Orissa and squarely blamed the Congress for creating an insecure atmosphere for minorities in the state.In a statement, city BJP head Dharam Pal Gupta, spokesperson Ranjana Shahi and Chandigarh Yuva Morcha president Satinder Singh said that Congress had totally failed in Orissa.
Meanwhile, a recent city BJP state executive meeting authorised Gupta to fill the vacancies in state executive body. Prabhu Dayal has been nominated president of the SC/BC Morcha, Roshan Lal Jindal of the industrial cell and Hari Shankar Mishra of the labour colony cell.
