Earlier, the Court had issued an ultimatum to the VMC to file its reply by February 10 following latter's failure to give replies during hearings for last more than a month.

The court directive of February 1 followed a written objection by Avdhoot Sumant, counsel for the plaintiff, to the corporation which sought frequent adjournments since it was in the interest of justice.
